Burlington Free Press Coverage Favors Parks and Recreation

This story aims to make us look irresponsible and unorganized, when the fact of the matter is that we have been diligently pursuing this project for two years, and this is now the second time the city has backed out of our agreements.  The writer of the article ate up Wayne's excuses blowing the tiniest components such as being a day late on telling Chief Higbee about the nine tickets we had sold or not yet paying the safety deposit.  Otherwise, everything was fine!

I love Chief Higbee's comment about their handing over olive branches
when, if anything, we gave the police all the olives on the farm
we paid the police!  Please, what is the issue here?  The Truth.

THIS STORY NEGLECTS TO SAY THAT WE WERE LED ON BY WAYNE GROSS OF PARKS AND RECREATION TO BELIEVE THAT WE WOULD BE ABLE TO SIGN WITH A NEW SECURITY COMPANY, WHICH WE DID AS YOU CAN READ IN THE POST BELOW.  THE NIGHT BEFORE THEY SENT US THE "FINAL CANCELLATION NOTICE," EVERYTHING WAS FINE ON THE PHONE WITH MR. GROSS.
